2024 Scholarship Program - Submission Deadline
Applications must be received by 5:00 p.m. on March 7, 2024 to the Edna or Bay City office. Applications received after that date will not be considered. Selection will be made by May.
2023 SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS
High School
Callie Bell is the daughter of Sandy Bell. Callie is a 2023 graduate of Edna High School and has plans to attend Sam Houston State University to pursue a degree in agribusiness including a teaching certification with a minor in interdisciplinary agriculture.
Michael Bubela is a 2023 graduating senior from Ganado High School and will attend Texas A&M University to pursue a degree in engineering/mechanical engineering. Michael is the son of Wayne and Diane Bubela.
Peyton Green, daughter of Josh and Janel Green, is a 2023 graduate of Ganado High School. Peyton plans to attend Texas A&M University to pursue a degree in biology and microbiology.
Tanner Woodring is a 2023 graduate of Industrial High School and will join the United States Air Force Academy in the fall to pursue a degree in mechanical engineering. Tanner is the son of Wesly and Sarah Woodring.
Sam Brooks, son of Stacy Brooks, is a 2023 graduate of Van Vleck High School. Sam plans to attend Howard Payne University in pursuit of a degree in electrical engineering.
Bailey Hauff is a 2023 graduate of Van Vleck High School and will attend Sam Houston State University in the fall to pursue a degree in agricultural engineering and technology with a minor in agricultural business. Bailey is the daughter of Kenny and Sarah Hauff.
Sydney Junek, daughter of Joseph Jr. and Susan Junek, is a 2023 graduate of Van Vleck High School. Sydeny has plans to attend Blinn College in pursuit of a degree in business administration with a concentration in project management.
College
Sara Brezina is a graduate of Edna High School. She is the daughter of Seth and Tara Brezina. Sara attends Texas A&M University, where she is pursuing a degree in business administration and plans to apply to law school in the future.
Madison Rosalez is a graduate of Ganado High School and a student at Sam Houston State University pursuing a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice with a minor in psychology. Madison is the daughter of Joey and Tanya Rosalez.
Madison J. Shelton is the daughter of James and Lee-Ann Shelton and a 2021 graduate of Ganado High School. Madison is a student at Texas A&M University and plans to major in sociology and minoring in psychology with plans to become an occupational therapist.
